J.W. Construction plans next projects

POLAND J.W. Construction generated revenues of PLN 211.4 mln in the first three quarters of the year, as well as an operating profit of PLN 41.5 mln and a net profit of PLN 2.5 mln.
Its gross margin on sales came to 24.28 pct. Over the period the developer found buyers for 283 apartments. Gross profit on sales for the period came to PLN 51.32 mln (including PLN 24.07 mln from development projects). In Q3 the group was working on six residential projects with a total of 1,710 of apartments and a useable area of over 89,460 sqm. Over the quarter the company launched the construction of a residential estate on ul. Powstania Wielkopolskiego in Gdynia, which is to offer 52 apartments. The company also accepted the concept for a residential and commercial complex on ul. Kasprzaka in Warsaw, which is to include app. 3,000 apartments. The project is divided into private, semi-private and public areas and is also to include service facilities. Construction work on the first stage is planned for around the beginning of 2013.

Romanian transaction volume registers the highest growth rate

According to data from the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox, Romania recorded a 131 pct y-o-y growth of the real estate transaction volume during H1 2024, reaching a level of EUR 418 mln, corresponding to the highest growth rate in the CEE. This significant evolution places Romania third in the region, following Poland and Czechia, surpassing Hungary and Slovakia.
