POLAND Podlaskie provincial authorities have issued a building permit for a ring road around Augustów.
On the March 11th 2011, Budimex signed a contract worth PLN 535.9 mln net with the Białystok office of the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) to design and construct the 36.3 km road. The company has until September 11th 2014 to complete the work. The GDDKiA has also awarded Porr Polska the tender to build the Bargłów Kościelny (also in Podlaskie province) ring road from among 11 contractors that submitted offers.
