The city asserts that the developer is not in compliance with the lease agreement because no work on the proposed 47-storey office building has yet begun. Mirland intends to start construction work on the 92,000 sqm Skyscraper building in the third quarter of the year with a projected completion date of Q4 2016. The company has one month to contest the ruling, but states that at present it is unable to assess the likelihood of reversing the decision. Mirland ascribed the project a value of USD 36.1 mln in its financial statement for Q3 2012.
