NETHERLANDS Logistics giant DHL has carried out a pilot project testing smart glasses and augmented reality in a warehouse in the Netherlands. The trial showed that the augmented reality-enabled warehouse picking solution increased the efficiency of the picking process by 25 pct.

Unibail-Rodamco reports healthy annual figures
POLAND In its last financial year, the French commercial property investor Unibail-Rodamco has seen its net recurring results reaching EUR 1,06 bln, up 8.3 pct y-o-y. The company attributes the surge to “strong like-for-like growth in shopping centres and offices, the successful deliveries in 2013, the acquisition of a stake in CentrO in May 2014 and a record-low cost of debt of 2.6 pct.”

Proximo catches BREEAM
POLAND Hines has announced that the Proximo building in Warsaw has obtained a BREEAM certificate with a ‘Very Good’ rating. The building, which is located at the junction of ul. Prosta and ul. Przyokopowa by the entrance to the Rondo Daszyńskiego metro station, will offer 28,385 sqmof class ‘A’ office space on 13 above-ground stories and 2,000 of retail on the ground floor.
