PLN 40 mln subsidy for Masurian water-world
POLAND The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development [PARP] has announced that it has awarded a subsidy to two projects as part of the fourth ‘Product Chain Creation By Small and Medium Enterprises’ [Tworzenie Produktów Sieciowych Przez MŚP] competition for the Operational Programme Eastern Poland 2014–2020. One of the two winners is a real estate project: Wodny Świat, which is to be built in Giżycko and Gajewo.
Over 5 mln sqm in eight largest regional markets
POLAND At the end of H1 2019, the total modern office stock in the eight major regional markets (Kraków, Wrocław, the Tri-City, Górnośląsko-Zagłębiowska Metropolis, Poznań, Łódź, Lublin and Szczecin) came to 5,302,900 sqm according to the latest figures from the Polish Chamber of Commercial Real Estate.

Gazit launches bid for all of Atrium
CEE REGION Israeli investor Gazit Globe has agreed to buy the 39.9 pct stake it does not already own in CEE shopping centre owner and operator Atrium European Real Estate at a price of EUR 3.75 per share – which for the 150 mln shares amounts to a gross consideration of EUR 565 mln.

ROMANIA Fund manager Abris Capital Partners has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Global Technical Group (GTS), a developer of IT system for property management.

POLAND The vacancy rate on the Warsaw office market decreased to 8.5 pct, which is a fall of 2.6 p.p. y-o-y. This is the lowest vacancy rate since 2012 and the rate is forecast to decrease further, says JLL.
