Our top five stories in October
October seems to have been a time for big announcements as investors start the rush to close their deals by the end of the year and so it comes as no surprise that the top story of last month was indeed the announcement of a major transaction.

Panattoni to complete Sealed Air factory
POLAND Panattoni is developing a 12,000 sqm project for foam packaging manufacturer Sealed Air in Panattoni Business Center Łódź III. Production is to start by the end of November.

Żywiec enters Browary
POLAND Brewer Grupa Żywiec has leased almost 4,400 sqm of office space in the Browary Warszawskie mixed-use complex, which is being developed by Echo Investment on ul. Grzybowska in Warsaw’s Wola disrict.

Prologis expands in Budapest
HUNGARY Prologis has started the construction of building number 11 of the Prologis Park Budapest-Harbor logistics complex.

WAN fences off construction site
POLAND WAN has fenced off a plot at the junction of al. Jana Pawła II and ul. Dzika near the Arkadia shopping centre in Warsaw, having obtained a final building permit for the construction of the first stage of an office complex.

WeWork to open in Warsaw Hub
POLAND Flexible office space operator WeWork has signed a pre-lease agreement for more than 10,500 sqm of space in The Warsaw Hub office project, which is under construction at the Rondo Daszyńskiego roundabout in the centre of the capital city.

Eurospar to come to Blue City
POLAND Spar Group is to open a 2,500 sqm store in the Blue City shopping centre in Warsaw through the rebranding of the current Piotr i Paweł store, a Polish grocery chain that has now been taken over by Spar Group.
Mbank looks to sublease
POLAND Mbank is to vacate 4,750 sqm in Stratos Office centre in 2021 and has appointed Savills to find a new tenant to sublease the offices to.

POLAND Globalworth has signed a preliminary agreement with Cavatina Holdings to acquire two office buildings that are under construction in Warsaw and Kraków. The deal is to close on their completion, which is scheduled for the first quarter of 2020.
