Moxy Lublin to open in 2022
POLAND A Moxy hotel is now under construction at ul. 1 Maja in Lublin. Two hotels of the brand already operate in Poland – in Warsaw and Katowice, while others are under preparation, in such locations as Poznań and Szczecin.

No slowing down for Dino
POLAND This year the Dino grocery chain is planning to open new stores and will start constructing a new distribution centre to be opened in 2020. The company has announced that it is planning to have a chain of 1,200 stores by 2020.
Matexi enters Kraków
POLAND Matexi Polska has bought a plot of land on ul. Rogalskiego in Kraków’s Wola Justowska, where it is planning to develop its first residential project in the city with two buildings and around 35 apartments.
Porr and Keller to build Port Praski quay
POLAND Port Praski is planning to start construction work on a quay as part of the Port Praski project in Warsaw and has appointed a consortium of Porr and Keller to complete the work.

Rockwell Automation to open factory in Katowice
POLAND Panattoni Europe is to develop an 11,300 sqm manufacturing plant for Rockwell Automation on a 3 ha sit in Katowice.
Skanska sees the end of the road
POLAND Skanska has sold eleven asphalt plants in Poland, which makes up the majority of its asphalt operations in the country, to Bouygues group subsidiary Colas for about PLN 120 mln.

Budimex makes space for Żywiec
POLAND Budimex has started work on its first contract for Danone –rebuilding and expanding the existing production plant for Żywiec Zdrój bottled water and beverages. The contract is worth is PLN 38.25 mln net.

Vector green for the third time
POLAND Vector+, Profbud’s first office project, which is under construction in Warsaw’s Wola district, has been awarded a BREEAM Interim certificate with a ‘Very Good’ rating.

First topping off for Varso
POLAND HB Reavis has topped off the central building of the Varso Place complex in central Warsaw. Most of the space in Varso 1, which has reached its target height of 81m, will be occupied by a Nyx hotel.

Foundation laid for EUR 30 mln Chełm centre
POLAND The foundation stone has been laid for Galeria Chełm, a shopping centre being jointly developed by Equilis and Acteeum Group at the junction of ul. Lubelska and ul. Rejowiecka in Chełm in eastern Poland.

POLAND Gemini Park Tychy shopping centre, which opened in Silesia in March 2018, is being prepared for expansion work. A total of 6,600 sqm of retail space is to be added to the building.

POLAND Hotel 1, an SPV of Immobile, has been granted loans worth PLN 20 mln to develop the Focus hotel in Bydgoszcz through the conversion of a former office building.
