Better sales and lower profit for H&M
WORLD In the first quarter the H&M group’s net sales increased by 10 pct to app. SEK 51 bln (EUR 4.9 bln), compared to SEK 46.2 bln in the first quarter of the 2018 financial year (starting on December 1st). In local currencies, net sales increased by 4 pct.

Improvements at Auchan Gliwice
POLAND Ceetrus Polska has been refurbishing the Auchan Gliwice shopping centre. The interiors of the centre should be fully renovated in April. It will include new rest areas and amenities for families with children. The centre will also be given a new visual identity and signage system as part of the renovations.

POLAND Eurocash Group had a net profit of PLN 111.65 mln in 2018 compared to PLN 29.56 mln a year earlier, the company stated in its annual report.
Mirbud tables the best bid
POLAND Mirbud’s bid of PLN 857 mln gross has been chosen as the best one in a tender for constructions of sections of the A1 motorway held by the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA).
