POLAND A record number of 56 teams took part in the Ninth Charity Real Estate Beach Volleyball Tournament organised by JLL on August 2nd 2018, which was held as always on the beach of the Vistula river next to La Playa Music Bar. Another broken record was how much the event raised for charity. On this sweltering August day, Dekada and BOIG had fielded a joint team, which was to go on to win in great style.
Investment in CEE still on the rise
CEE REGION Investment in the CEE-6 region, which comprises Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary, rose in the first half of the year by 4 pct y-o-y, Colliers International reports.

PZU builds on Dominikański
POLAND PZU subsidiary Tower Investments is to start the construction of an office building on ul. Oławska next to pl. Dominikański square in Wrocław at the beginning of 2019. The seven-storey building, which will have an area of 12,000 sqm, will serve as the headquarters for the group.

CZECH REPUBLIC Total modern office stock in Brno reached 570,300 sqm in the first half of 2018, while in Ostrava the figure came to 213,400 sqm, according to figures released by the Regional Research Forum on the two largest secondary office markets in the Czech Republic.
