POLAND Europe’s hotel industry reported increases across the three key performance metrics during April 2018, according to data from STR. Occupancy in Europe rose by 1.5 pct to 73.2 pct, with ADR rising by 2.9 pct to EUR 108.03 and RevPAR up by 4.4 pct to EUR 79.13.

HUNGARY The CEE hotel market has seem rapid growth over the last three years both in terms of hotel performance and transaction volumes due to the rapid expansion of the tourism industry. Within the region, the Budapest hotel market has seen exceptional growth, with RevPAR growth outpacing other capital cities in the region, according to Colliers International's latest hotel market study.

Concentrate on Advanced Business
BULGARIA Synnex Corporation subsidiary Concentrix, which is involved in global business services, has leased 11,500 sqm of office space with a 225 sqm terrace and 220 parking spaces in Advance Business Center I in Sofia from GTC Bulgaria. The contract includes the option to expand the lease by 2,900 sqm. Advance Business Center I is currently under construction and is planned to be completed in Q1 2019.
European retail development slows down
EUROPE The rate of shopping centre development in Europe is slowing, with completions down 23 pct year-on-year at 3.8 mln sqm in 2017, according to Cushman & Wakefield’s European Shopping Centres report.
