EUROPE CBRE has published the CBRE Hotels European Investor Intentions Survey, which shows Poland and the Czech Republic being among the top ten countries for hotel investment. Investors are still eager to invest this year could see even higher volumes than in 2017.

Stokrotka to become Lithuanian
POLAND The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has approved the takeover of WSE-listed Emperia, which is the owner of the Stokrotka grocery chain, by Lithuanian-based Maxima Grupe which also owns the Aldik and Sano chains in Poland.
Coccodrillo still drinking the new year's champagne
POLAND CDRL, the owner of children’s clothing brand Coccodrillo, recorded a revenue of PLN 12.3 mln in March, which represents an 8 pct rise on the same month of the previous year. The company’s online revenue for the month was up by 14 pct y-o-y to PLN 1.6 mln.
