POLAND Martes Sport has opened a larger store on the first floor of the Focus Mall Piotrków Trybunalski shopping centre. The tenant increased the size of its lease by 300 sqm to 900 sqm.

SLOVENIA The Orbis hotel group has entered Slovenia by signing franchise agreements with Terme Maribor, which is to renovate two of its hotels in Maribor so that they meet the requirements of the Mercure and Ibis Styles brands.
A pharmaceuticals distribution centre is being developed for Neuca on ul. Forteczna in Toruń and is to be completed in March 2018.

POLAND Polish State Railways PKP has announced the results of a tender to design and build a 7km tunnel from Łódź Fabryczna, to the railway line connected to Łódź Kaliska.

POLAND Romanian investor Globalworth Asset Managers has signed a conditional investment agreement to buy a majority stake in Griffin Premium RE of between 50.01 pct and 67.9 pct.
POLAND American accounting and consulting company Crowe Horwath has renewed its lease agreement for nearly 2,500 sqm and has selected an additional 500 sqm of space at the Crown Tower office building in Warsaw’s Wola district.

POLAND In May 2018, Metropolitan Investment is to start the construction of the Metropolitan Park Kwidzyn shopping centre at the junction of ul. Toruńska and ul. Południowa in Kwidzyn, Pomerania.
POLAND The KiK discount clothes, toys and household goods chain has opened new stores in Wrocław and Chełm, while outlets in Tarnowo and Kędzierzyn-Koźle have reopened after renovations.
POLAND DSV Solutions is adding a total new area of 15,000 sqm to its premises in Sosnowiec. An additional area of 5,000 sqm has already been added to the space it occupies in Panattoni Park Sosnowiec, for industrial automation operations and just-in-time services.

POLAND Construction insulation producer Schöck Group has leased 4,050 sqm of warehouse space in Segro Industrial Park Tychy 2.
EUROPE The output volume of Strabag rose up by 10 pct in the first half of 2017. The company has an order pipeline at a record level of EUR 16.5 bln – and it is 7 pct more than in the same period of last year. Strabag has also confirmed its outlook for 2017 – it is aiming for higher output volume, while its EBIT margin has been targeted at over 3 pct.
