Demand for Russian offices to shrink 40 pct?

RUSSIA In 2014, demand for office space in Moscow might decline by as much as 25 to 40 pct, compared to 2013, says CBRE in its latest study. In a result, the vacancy rate might climb up to 16 pct by the end of the year, the analysts say.

RUSSIA The Vodny shopping centre has unofficially welcomed its first vistors, while its official opening is scheduled to take place in October. On the first day of operations (September 18th) the centre was visited by 15,000 people.

Segro buys EUR 43 mln logistics portfolio

EUROPE UK-based Segro has acquired a 68,800 sqm logistics portfolio, worth EUR 42.9 mln, from Standard Life Investments European Property Growth Fund through European Logistics Partnership (SELP), its 50/50 joint venture with Canadian pension fund Public Sector Pension Investment Board. The premises are located in the Czech Republic, France and Germany.
