Hines to buy “five or six” more Polish properties
POLAND US property company Hines has closed its Luxembourg-based Hines Poland Sustainable Income Fund (HPSIF) at EUR 155 mln. The fund, whose portfolio currently includes three Warsaw office buildings, is aimed at acquiring five or six other properties in Poland.

Japanese giant invests in omni-channel customer service
WORLD Japanese-based retail group Fast Retailing, which owns such brands as Uniqlo, GU, Theory, Comptoir des Cotonniers and Princesse, has partnered up with Accenture to fully digitalize customer services across its sales channels.
Gap to close down 175 stores
WORLD US-based fashion retailer Gap, which owns such brands as Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy, plans on closing down 140 Gap-branded US stores by the end of its 2015 fiscal year. At least 35 more locations will close within the next few years.

POLAND The Mzuri group has launched another SPV company, Mzuri CFI 2, which is to buy a portfolio of apartments for rent under the crowdfunding model.

Work on Galeria Północna to start in July
POLAND Construction work on the Galeria Północna shopping centre in Warsaw’s Białołęka district is set to start at the beginning of July at the latest, according to Piotr Kroenke, the general director of Globe Trade Centre Polska, which is the property’s investor and developer.
