POLAND Bridgestone has officially completed its latest project in Poland. With the support of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ) the Japanese company has extended its factory in Stargard Szczeciński.
The tyres and rubber goods giant will be able to produce 3,600 lorry and bus tyres a day over an area of 147,000 sqm in the extended factory. A new production line has also been installed in the Stargard Szczeciński plant. The total cost of the project comes to EUR 120 mln. The Bridgestone plant extension is the sixth project of the Japanese company to receive support from the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency.
