POLAND Szczecin castle reconstruction completed

The ducal palace dates back to the early 15th century. Its latest restoration project was begun in 2022. In 2025, Mostostal Warszawa also completed the core stage of the work – reopening restored areas to visitors, including new exhibition galleries, the Ducal Terrace with its viewing platform, the Ducal Crypt and the Piwnica Theatre adjacent to the Crypt.

This was a challenging, yet extremely rewarding project. We carried out the work within a historic landmark of immense importance to the region, so from the very beginning we had one goal: to deliver the project to the highest engineering standards while fully respecting the site’s historic fabric and heritage. Thanks to the excellent cooperation of all parties involved, we successfully brought the project to completion.

The latest stage was inaugurated by the installation of the castle's architectural illumination system by Elektro-Bud, with Mostostal Warszawa also preparing the infrastructure required for this.
