Empty offices and mass remote working are now more of a stereotype than reality. According to the ‘Coworking 2026’ report published by Brain Embassy, as many as eight out of ten representatives of the SME sector work from the office five days a week. At the same time, Warsaw’s vacancy rate has fallen to the lowest
level on record. However, the report also shows that high office attendance does not always translate into productivity.
Brain Embassy’s experts point out that employees’ physical presence does not necessarily mean effective work. As many as 31 pct of respondents admitted that they sometimes simply “fill working hours” without feeling genuinely productive. Offices may be full, but attendance alone does not guarantee that the workspace actually supports employees in carrying out their daily tasks.
