POLAND The Art House art gallery is to be developed near Warsaw’s Ujazdowski Park. The project, at the junction of ul. Piękna and ul. Johna Lennona, will also serve as the new headquarters of the Desa Unicum auction house, which is currently situated on ul. Marszłkowska, in a building owned by MDM estate.

LITHUANIA The Vilnius Beacon sports centre on Laimis Hill in the city’s Liepkalnis district is to open in December 2017. Daniel Libeskind and his Libeskind Studio is responsible for the design of the complex, which is officially called the Vilnius Beacon Sports Centre for Winter and Summer Entertainment. The aim of the centre is to create a new tourist destination, to widen the range of tourist activities in Vilnius and to transform the city as a tourist destination and reference point in the Baltic region.

First 3D-printed office building opened, furnished by Bene

WORLD The world’s first 3D printed office building has opened in Dubai, with Austrian company Bene being responsible for the interior design and furnishing of the building. The building was prindted within 17 days. It is just the first building of the complex.

LITHUANIA The design has been unveiled of the new Modern Art Center (MMC) in Vilnius. Polish-American architect Daniel Libeskind from Studio Libeskind (New York/Milan/Zurich) in partnership with Do architects (Vilnius) and Baltic Engineers (Vilnius) are responsible for preparing the architectural design.
