POLAND The WXCA architectural studio has won the competition to develop the concept for a major extension to the Witold Gombrowicz Theatre in Gdynia [Teatru Miejskiego im. Witolda Gombrowicza w Gdyni]. Construction work on the project is to start in 2021.

POLAND Jems Architekci has won the first prize in the architectural and urban competition for the design of the Planet Lem Centre for Literature and Language [Centrum Literatury i Języka “Planeta Lem”]. Kraków's flagship cultural project involves the refurbishment of a former salt storehouse in Zabłocie and should be completed by 2023.

POLAND Liberty Tower, which is to be built at the corner of ul. Żelazna and ul. Grzybowska in Warsaw, will be a 41-storey residential block with a height of 140m and a cascading roof. The building, which is designed by US-based architectural studio Arquitectonica with Epstein acting as the local architectural partner, is also to house a hotel. Work is scheduled to start in Q2 2020.
