POLAND Winning for families on the beach

The 13th JLL Real Estate Beach Volleyball Charity Tournament, which took place earlier this month, has raised over PLN 800,000 to build the third Ronald McDonald House at a paediatric hospital in Poland.

This year's edition of the JLL Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament will take place on 1 August at the Monta Beach Volley Club in Warsaw. Funds raised during the event will for the second time be used to support the construction of the Ronald McDonald House at the Children's Memorial Health Institute.

Poland Lots of fun, and well done

As part of the ' Across the Wola district for Autism' charity city game organised by Cushman & Wakefield, real estate companies managed to collect PLN 82,700. The funds will go to the Synapsis Foundation to support the diagnosis and therapy of children and young people on the autism spectrum. "Eurobuild" was a media patron of the event.

The Polish government has just announced the introduction of an additional levy on the media, which it calls an advertising tax, cynically justifying the move as necessary for fighting the pandemic.
