CEE goes green
CEE REGION About 1.75 mln sqm of existing office space in the CEE region has been certified and another 2.5 mln sqm of existing offices have been registered with the aim of achieving green certification, according to the ‘Offices: Going Green in the CEE’ report just published by JLL.

Solar park in Buje
CROATIA Fibernet Solar has developed a 540 kWp solar park near Buje, close to the Slovenian port of Koper. It is equipped with modules produced by Chinese solar cell manufacturer CSUN and is to be connected to the grid by the end of April 2014.

POLAND The Nova Park shopping centre in Gorzów Wielkopolski, which is owned by Futureal, has received a ‘Excellent’ grades in two categories of its BREEAM-In-Use certificate: for building management and for its asset rating (which covers the ecological characteristics of the building).
