WORLD New York’s Upper 5th Avenue remains the world’s most expensive high street, just ahead of Hong Kong’s Causeway Bay.
Solid outlook for retailers
POLAND In 2016 Poland’s total retail floor space was set to increase to 11.26 mln sqm. According to the ‘Poland Retail Market View Q4 2016’ report by CBRE, 17 new projects and 12 extensions, were to deliver around 390,000 sqm to the market, of which more than 280,000 sqm was scheduled for completion in the last quarter of 2016.
Three Maxi Zoos for Christmas
POLAND The Maxi Zoo chain of pet shops opened three new stores in and around Warsaw in December: in the Targówek retail park, at al. Wilanowska 363 in Mokotów and in Centrum Kolor in Piaseczno south of the city limits.
