Large turnover for Polish shopping centres
POLAND The average retail turnover per sqm in Polish shopping centres amounts to EUR 2,300 per year and there are retail segments in which the turnover exceeds EUR 10,000, reveals BNP Paribas Real Estate in its latest report.
L’Erbolario to make Polish debut
POLAND Italian cosmetics chain L’Erbolario is planning to open its first Polish store. The company has leased 43 sqm of space in Hala Koszyki owned by Griffin Real Estate.

Echo concentrates on Towarowa 22
POLAND Poland’s competition authority UOKiK has approved the establishment of a joint venture company owned by Echo Investment and Echo Polska Properties, which is to construct and manage the Towarowa 22 shopping centre in Warsaw.

POLAND The CityFit fitness club has signed a 1,650 sqm lease in the Galeria Rondo Wiatraczna shopping centre, which is under construction in Warsaw.

POLAND In October Gee One and the Kredka stationary shop entered the Galeria Jurajska shopping centre as well as a 52 sqm Ciach Ciach children’s hairdresser at the beginning of November.

Fewer shopping centre completions in H1
EUROPE About 1.3 mln sqm of new shopping centre space was delivered across Europe in the first half of 2016, 7 pct less than in H1 2015, according to the European Shopping Centre Development Report by Cushman & Wakefield.
