Super-Pharm to open in Galeria Sudecka
POLAND Polish drugstore chain operator Super-Pharm has decided to open a 500 sqm store in Galeria Sudecka, which is currently being redeveloped in Jelenia Góra by Echo Investment.

RUSSIA The Vodny shopping centre has unofficially welcomed its first vistors, while its official opening is scheduled to take place in October. On the first day of operations (September 18th) the centre was visited by 15,000 people.

CCC enlarges and refurbishes stores
POLAND Polish footwear retailer CCC has extended its store in the Focus Mall shopping centre in Piotrków Trybunalski by 577 sqm, to nearly 1,000 sqm. The move comes as part of the company's country-wide refurbishment program.

Polish furniture retailer to open 25,000 sqm store in Warsaw
POLAND A 25,000 sqm Agata Meble store will open in the Park Handlowy Targówek shopping centre in Warsaw. The new retail building will be constructed opposite DIY market Leroy Merlin.
MarcPol with new locations to open
POLAND A new Marcpol store will open on al. Jana Pawła II in the Polish city of Turek. It will make the sixtieth Marcpol store in the country.

IKEA to invest EUR 2 bln in Russian malls
RUSSIA IKEA Shopping Centres Russia is set to develop Mega Mytischi, a 215,000 sqm shopping mall in north east suburbs of Moscow. Scheduled to open in early 2018, the project is estimated at EUR 260 mln. The development comes as part of IKEA’s new, 2 EUR bln investment strategy for Russian market.

HB Reavis with permit for Czech shopping centre
CZECH REPUBLIC HB Reavis has received building permit for its Aupark shopping centre in Hradec Králové. Construction work, scheduled to start in October, are set to be completed by the end of 2016.

POLAND Polish footwear retailer CCC has leased a 640 store in the Serenada shopping centre, a Mayland Real Estate development that is set to be built in Kraków’s Olsza district.

POLAND Wrocław department store Renoma has acquired five new tenants. The newly-signed retailers include Hexeline, Marc Cain, Desiderio, Rage Age and World Box, which will jointly take up app. 500 sqm.

POLAND Brama Mazur, a shopping centre in Ełk developed by Master Management Group, has opened. The complex is comprised of two independent buildings: a shopping mall and Planet Cinema, which is set to open two weeks after the launch of the mall.

Forum Radunia with building permit
POLAND European developer Multi Corporation has been given building permission for its new, Gdańsk shopping centre, Forum Radunia. The construction work on the project, with a GLA of 62,000 sqm, is scheduled to start this autumn.

Multi-screen, IMAX cinema to open beyond Polar circle
RUSSIA Russian cinema operator Mori Cinema has signed a lease deal to open a multi-screen, IMAX technology-enhanced cinema in Murmansk Mall, a 45,000 sqm shopping centre that is set to be launched in Murmansk in the first quarter of 2015. The shopping centre’s developer is Dorinda Invest, a company involved in managing the Russian hypermarket chain O’key.
