AristoInvest comes to Zielona Góra

Auchan Kołbaskowo made anew

LITHUANIA The Maxima supermarket at 9A Mokslininkų street in the Bajorai district of Vilnius has been upgraded and re-opened as an x format store of the chain. Almost 80 pct of its range of fresh food products are Lithuanian.

POLAND Fabryka Formy has opened a new 1,800 sqm fitness club in the Pasaż Tesco shopping centre on ul. Serbska in Poznań.

Vacancy rises on Warsaw’s high streets
POLAND Warsaw high street retail vacancy now stands at 13 pct – significantly above the 2.8 pct level of Warsaw’s 42 shopping centres and 5 p.p. higher than three years ago, says JLL.

Wrocław arcade in new hands
POLAND BPI Real Estate Poland has finalised the sale of retail and service units with a total of 4,300 sqm gla in the Bulwary Książęce project in Wrocław. The new owner is Metropolitan Investment, which has acquired units ranging from 52 sqm to 1,100 sqm built in the first stage and planned in the second stage of the project. Around 140 parking spaces will be available to the customers of these outlets.

EDS to build 12 retail parks
POLAND TriCity-based EDS Retail Park is planning to develop retail parks with a total leasable area of more than 22,000 sqm this year. The first project was launched this month: EDS Park Opatów in Świętokrzyskie province. Work on the other parks is also to start in the next few months, in such locations as Pomerania. A total of twelve projects under the EDS Park brand are now in the pipeline.
Five tenants sign up in Morski Park
POLAND A total of five tenants are to lease space in the extended section of the Morski retail park on ul. Przywidzka in Gdańsk.

POLAND Having acquired the legal rights to the brand, Giacomo Conti is to bring back Sunset Suits, which previously ceased trading due to the financial problems of its owner.

POLAND Swedish fashion chain H&M has extended its leases in Brama Mazur in Ełk and MMG Centers Kutno for the next few years. Both shopping centres are managed by the Master Management Group.

No slowing down for Dino
POLAND This year the Dino grocery chain is planning to open new stores and will start constructing a new distribution centre to be opened in 2020. The company has announced that it is planning to have a chain of 1,200 stores by 2020.

Gemini Park Tychy adds more space
POLAND Gemini Park Tychy shopping centre, which opened in Silesia in March 2018, is being prepared for expansion work. A total of 6,600 sqm of retail space is to be added to the building.
