POLAND The Meet & Fit restaurant chain is to open six new branches soon and is currently looking for both new locations and franchisees.
Better sales and lower profit for H&M
WORLD In the first quarter the H&M group’s net sales increased by 10 pct to app. SEK 51 bln (EUR 4.9 bln), compared to SEK 46.2 bln in the first quarter of the 2018 financial year (starting on December 1st). In local currencies, net sales increased by 4 pct.
Vendo Park now open in Bytów
POLAND Trei Real Estate, part of the Tengelmann group, has opened Vendo Park in Bytów in northern Poland.

Improvements at Auchan Gliwice
POLAND Ceetrus Polska has been refurbishing the Auchan Gliwice shopping centre. The interiors of the centre should be fully renovated in April. It will include new rest areas and amenities for families with children. The centre will also be given a new visual identity and signage system as part of the renovations.

Meating Point opens second restaurant in Warsaw
POLAND The Meating Point self-service restaurant chain has leased 450 sqm in the the Moje Miejsce mixed-use project which is being developed by Echo Investment in Warsaw’s Dolny Mokotów district. This will be the second restaurant of the chain in the city.

Atut to open in Wieliczka
POLAND An Atut shopping centre is to be developed on ul. Krakowska in Wieliczka (Małopolska) by KG Group, which currently operates four centres under this brand and has others under preparation. The building will have 18,000 sqm of retail space and 30 units.
Record results reported by Inditex
WORLD Net sales at Inditex rose 3 pct last year to top EUR 26 bln. Revenue from online sales increased by 27 pct to EUR 3.2 bln with online net profit rose by 2 pct to EUR 3.44 bln.
