Market interest in CEE data centres continues to surge
EUROPE/ CEE REGION In H1 2014, connectivity hubs in Europe have sold a total of 38MW of customer IT power, a 68 pct y-o-y increase. Currently dominated by London, Frankfurt and Amsterdam facilities, the European data centre industry is starting to blossom in the CEE region where more and more facilities of this kind is being developed, says CBRE in its latest report.

Panattoni Poznań project kicks-off

Kajima to modernize P3 Mszczonów warehouse
POLAND PointPark Properties (P3) has started work on a complete build-to-suit “fit-out” of its 11,130 sqm temperature-controlled warehouse at PointPark Mszczonów near Warsaw to allow its tenant, FM Logistic, to store and distribute fresh food. The general contractor is Japanese construction company, Kajima Poland.

CTP to construct custom-built facility for German pipe maker
ROMANIA Dutch developer CTP has signed an agreement with the German pipe manufacturer Fränkische to provide an app. 3,400 sqm custom-built facility at the CTPark Turda industrial and warehousing park in Romania worth EUR 2 mln.

UKRAINE At the end of Q2 2014 the primary vacancy level in the warehousing sector in the greater Kyiv area amounted to 10.1 pct, representing a 5.4 pct increase on to Q1, according to research by DTZ.
