Prologis posts strong Q2 results in CEE
CEE REGION In Q2 2014, Prologis has signed new lease contracts for 157,000 sqm of space and renewals of more than 274,000 sqm. In total, the US-based company leased nearly 520,000 sqm in Central and Eastern Europe, up 86 pct y-o-y, while its occupancy rate in the region stood at 90.1 pct.
Segro Ożarów warehouse with furniture tenant
POLAND Denmark-based furniture retailer BelBazaar has signed a 700 sqm lease contract with Segro for its warehouse space in Ożarów. The new tenant will move into the 36,600 sqm Segro Business Park Warsaw facility in December 2014.
German Centos lands in Kaluga
RUSSIA Germany-based logistics company Centos Сentral Logistics has leased over 18,000 sqm of space in the Omega Lease Kaluga logistics centre, a part of Industrial Park Vorsino, located 70 km southwest of Moscow.

Chemical giant completes first stage of Wrocław construction
POLAND The world’s largest chemical manufacturer BASF has started production in its new, 40,000 sqm catalytic converter plant in Środa Śląska near Wrocław after it finished the first stage of the EUR 150 mln development.

German warehousing expert sets up CEE plant
CZECH REPUBLIC Germany-based industrial truck manufacturer Kion Group plans on opening a 20,000 sqm plant which will house app. 200 employees in Pilzeň in the Czech Republic as warehousing burgeons across the CEE region.

US tobacco sector engineers now leasing 15,000 sqm in Stryków
POLAND US-owned tobacco industry engineering company SWM Poland has increased its warehouse space at Segro Logistics Park Stryków by leasing an additional 4,200 sqm.
Segro completes CCPIII and EPISO portfolio purchase
EUROPE Segro has confirmed that on June 30th the Segro European Logistics Partnership (SELP), of which it owns 50 pct, transacted the remaining EUR 185 mln of the EUR 472 mln portfolio acquisition from CCPIII (managed by Tristan Capital Partners) and EPISO (co-managed by Tristan Capital Partners and AEW Europe).

LCP attracts another tenant for Bydgoszcz warehouse
POLAND PHUP Gniezno, the distributor of grocery products, will now have its warehouse at the Logistic & Business Park (LCP) in Bydgoszcz. The company has leased an area of 4,450 sqm from LCP’s owner, London & Cambridge Properties.
