Furniture with a good energy

POLAND Timba is a return to the tradition of simple forms and wooden furniture that emanates warmth and good energy, believes Tom Lloyd, the designer of the range. The Timba range of office furniture designed for team work, including tables, chairs and stools, is the work of London-based studio Pearson Lloyd for Austrian company Bene.

“As in the case of the kitchen at home, the table for team work plays a very important role in the office,” explains Tom Lloyd. He believes that the appearance of the area where people meet to discuss things, where they can eat something together and make plans for the future, is extremely important. The beauty of the natural wood and the minimalist design of the furniture in the Timba series has not only been recognised by clients, but also by architects, resulting in two prestigious awards: the Innovation Award 2015 and the IF Design Award.
