Entering new sectors after rebranding
Interior designThe Tétris by Neo Świat brand has been officially replaced by Tétris Poland. “The global reach of Tétris has opened doors for us to work with huge international clients that are currently focusing their attention on Poland. As well as maintaining our lead in the office design segment, we now intend to enter into the hotel and retail space industry,” says Rajmund Węgrzynek, the managing director of Tétris Poland. The company also wants to start fitting out public utility buildings such as museums and cultural centres. The company says that last year was a time of rapid development with an increase in its net turnover of over 35 pct. Tétris Poland specialises in the ‘design & build’ and it has introduced a new ‘open book’ approach to project management to the Polish market. Tétris currently operates in 16 countries in the EMEA region. It currently employs over 100 specialists in Poland including architects, graphic designers, engineers, project managers, lawyers and construction engineers. The company also has a group of loyal subcontractors. “We can compare fit-out work to a mosaic consisting of hundreds of elements: from the vision of a place, to its architectural design, to the entire construction process. Our task is to ensure the client feels comfortable and at ease and they are confident that all these elements interlock perfectly,” explains Paweł Brodzik, the managing director at Tétris Poland. The new ‘open book’ approach involves full transparency in term of costs at every stage of a project: from providing the client with all the costs of materials and services in advance, establishing remuneration rates of individual Tétris employees, to defining the commission for the contractor. It is not possible to divert money from one section to another without a client’s consent. At the end of 2015 and early 2016 the company’s key developments included new offices for Wyborowa Pernod Ricard, JLL, Stanley Black&Decker, EY, Aecom, BlaBlaCar, Orleans, Markant and Linklaters. The company’s fit-out projects included the redevelopment of the Renaissance tenement house, new halls in Warsaw Towers and Marynarska Point 2; apartments and recreational areas for the Cosmopolitan, Park Lane and Złota 44 developments. Since merging with Tétris in May 2015 Neo Świat has carried out more than 225 projects with a combined area of app. 140,000 sqm.
