Strabag wins EUR 239 mln road contract

SLOVAKIA A construction consortium led by Strabag has been chosen to build a 5.6 km section of the D3 motorway between Čadca and Bukov in northern Slovakia.
The EUR 239 mln investment commissioned by the state motorway authority NDS involves the construction of the road, as well as 19 bridges, several retaining walls and more than 11 km of sound barriers. This section of motorway forms part of the Pan-European Transport Corridor and will improve the transport connections to the country’s northern neighbour of Poland. Strabag has a 44 pct share in the construction consortium.
