POLAND The final building permit has been issued for the project to build the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, which is to be built in front of the Palace of Culture and Science facing onto ul. Marszałkowska.
The tender to select the general contractor has already been launched, with the final decision probably to be made in September. City officials hope to get the construction work going this year. The museum building as well as the new home of Teatr R are to be opened in December 2021. According to the city, the ownership of the site has now been settled.
