Five in running for Museum of Modern Art

POLAND Five companies have submitted applications to enter the tender for the construction of the Museum of Modern Art [MSN] in Warsaw.
Warbud, Budimex and the following consortiums: Hochtief and Mar-Bud; Ids-Bud, Polimex-Mostostal and Polimex Construction; and Strabag and Zublin. The tender was announced around the end of March. The contractor that is eventually selected is to construct a museum building (but not the theatre building that forms part of the complex) of ​​almost 20,000 sqm, which has been designed by New York-based architectural studio Thomas Phifer and Partners together with its Polish partner, the APA Wojci

On March 28th, the fourteenth Bieg na Szczyt is to be held at the Rondo 1 office building in Warsaw. Tower runners will have 38 floors to conquer, while all proceeds raised from the event will go to supporting the SOS Children's Village in Kraśnik.
