POLAND One of the production halls of the former FSO car plant in Warsaw’s Żerań district has been converted into a trade and congress centre.
Brands such as Syrena, Polonez and Polski Fiat were produced in the plant, where production finally ceased in 2011. The design of the Global Expo trade fair and congress centre is the work of the Tremend studio, which decided to preserve the industrial character of the space and re-use some of the elements of the former production hall.
