Mostostal Warszawa to modernise Gdańsk Główny

The work includes the renovation of the building's façade, the reconstruction of its northern roof and the construction of a terrace. The historical appearance of the main hall is to be restored and the building will be made accessible for the disabled. When the tender was originally concluded in March for the project no construction company was appointed since all the bids had exceeded the project’s budget of PLN 83.4 mln. (Budimex also bid for the work with an offer of PLN 109.1 mln). Extra funds have now been found for the project and the contractor will have 118 weeks to complete the work.
