A covered market pavilion is to be erected for Łazarski market in Poznań

POLAND Poznań city council has signed an agreement with Skanska for the redevelopment of the Łazarski market, which will involve the creation of a shopping and recreation area with a covered market, wider pavements, new infrastructure and more greenery.
Areas will also be created for café gardens and small events as well as a fountain and a play area. In addition, there will be more trees and plants as well as a supply zone for market traders. Until now the market, commonly known as ‘Łazarz’ [Lazarus], has been mainly used for market trading, but after its redevelopment will become a multi-functional area.
