RUSSIA The largest indoor theme park in Europe, Dream Island in Moscow, was visited by more than 150,000 people in the first two days since its opening.
The USD 1.5 bln amusement park opened on February 29th. It has been built as part of the redevelopment of the 600 ha industrial zone of the former ZiL automotive factory. The area has been divided into four zones: recreation, residential, sport and the Technopark.
The park is covered by seven glass domes covering a total of 28,000 sqm. The largest of these, with 8,000 sqm, has a maximum height of 35 metres and a honeycomb structure. It features eight fairy-tale themed zones, a promenade w
