Coventry coming to Wrocław in September

The Wrocław campus of the UK-based university – the first foreign university to open one in Poland – will occupy two floors of the Centrum Południe business centre being developed by Skanska in the city centre.

Fitting out work is underway on the campus building, prior to the testing and commissioning of the building, which is scheduled to take place in the summer.

Applications have been opened for undergraduate courses in digital technology, business management and leadership, aviation management, and cyber security. In the first year of its operations 160 students will be inducted, with the aim of increasing this number and the range of courses in subsequent years.

Anna Życińska-Wójcik, Skanska’s project director responsible for Centrum Południe has commented: “In Wrocław we are on schedule with the fit-out work for Coventry University to open a great place for students. This is our first project involving the adaptation of office space for academic use, which we are also carrying out under the unique circumstances created by the Covid-19 pandemic. We are confident this project will offer a unique combination of friendly and modern space adapted to meet the new post-Covid way of working and learning.”
