POLAND Skanska has completed the new home of the National Archives in Kraków, which according to the company is the largest complex of its type in Poland.
The low-energy buildings will house such documents as the city of Kraków Charter of 1257 and thousands of other parchments, among others bearing the royal seals of the Piast and Jagiellonian dynasties.
The new National Archives in Kraków consist of two interconnected buildings: an administration building with five above-ground storeys and an underground level, and an archive building with seven above-ground levels and one underground. The complex has a useable area of more than 14,400 sqm. In
