Poland Building permit for Teatr Rozmaitości

A building permit has been issued for the Teatr Rozmaitości in Warsaw and work can begin on the building designed by New York architectural studio Thomas Phifer and Partners with PA Wojciechowski and Buro Happold.
The engineering work and project management have been entrusted to ECM Group Polska and Portico Project Management. The theatre, together with the Modern Art Museum will make up a two-building complex on Plac Centralny next to the Palace of Science and Culture. Teatr Rozmaitości will have two areas where films, concerts and other events can be staged. The main stage will include seating for 700 people, while the smaller stage will seat 150. The space in both rooms can be freely configured.
