EBRD backs up Romanian cities
ROMANIA The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has granted a EUR 22.6 mln loan and a EUR 900,000 grant-based assistance to the Romanian city of Galați to help modernize its road and public transportat infrastructure.

Prologis leases 387,000 sqm
CEE REGION In Q3 2014, Prologis CEE has leased out more than 387,000 sqm of space, a 57 pct y-o-y increase. New leases reached 178,000 sqm and lease renewals 173,000 sqm, with the remainder being short term agreements.

European operations drive Tesco global sales
CEE REGION In the first half of its 2014/2015 fiscal year, Tesco has seen its total European sales (excluding the UK) dipping by 1.8 pct y-o-y at constant rates and by 9.3 pct y-o-y at actual rates, to GBP 4.84 bln. Meanwhile, Tesco's overall trading profits in Europe increased by 38 pct, to GBP 76 mln, marking the best overseas H1 result.
