According to Walter Herz, investments in the real estate market are coming through regardless of the difficulties in the economy, but housing construction has temporarily slowed down. Warehouses have slowed down, while retail parks are still gaining momentum.

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the debut of its Radisson RED brand in Serbia with the signing of Radisson RED Belgrade, set to open later this year. Located just minutes from the capital’s historic centre, the hotel is the first Radisson RED branded facility to be operated by PPHE Hotel Group’s Croatian subsidiary Arena Hospitality Group.

GTC reported rental income of EUR 167 mln in 2022, compared to EUR 172 mln in 2021. The decrease was due, among other things, to the sale of the group's Serbian portfolio and lower occupancy levels in Polish and Romanian office buildings.

The Norblin Factory mulfunctional complex in Warsaw's Wola district has received Barrier-Free Building (‘Obiekt Bez Barier’) certificates from Fundacja Integracja. Both the new and historic buildings of the complex owned by the Capital Park Group have been certified for architectural accessibility and adaptation to the needs of various users, including people with disabilities, the elderly, those with temporary disabilities, and parents with children.

According to the ‘Office Occupier – Warsaw Office Market’ report by Newmark Polska, the first three months of 2023 saw no new office completions in Warsaw, while occupier activity weakened and the capital’s vacancy rate remained flat compared to the previous quarter. Developers are, however, commencing or planning new office projects in the city.

Panattoni has leased almost 600 sqm in the W3 building on ul. Wadowicka in Kraków, where a team of 20 people that serves the Podkarpackie region is to work. The office space has been finished based on a unique design by Panattoni drawn up in collaboration with Massive Design.

Olesiński and Wspólnicy, a consulting company, has chosen office space in the redeveloped Renoma for its new Wrocław base. The lawyers and advisors are to lay out their 2,200 sqm office on the second floor of the building in the administrative capital of Lower Silesia.

Panattoni has launched construction work on Panattoni Park Tricity East III, which on completion will comprise 44,300 sqm, of which 33,600 sqm has already been leased.

Construction work on the new production and logistics property in Hörselberg-Hainich is progressing rapidly: six months after the first excavators rolled in to prepare the ground for the foundations, Garbe Industrial Real Estate as the project developer and BCube Logistik GmbH as the tenant celebrated the topping-out ceremony. The property, with a total area of 35,000 square metres, is scheduled for completion in autumn.

Logicor has acquired an app. 10 ha brownfield site near Turnov, in the municipality of Příšovice, about 90 km northeast of Prague.

The five-star 12-14 Stradom House hotel in Kraków is already welcoming its first guests. The property operates under the Autograph Collection brand, which is part of the Marriott International chain. Angel Poland Group is responsible for the development of the hotel.

The investment company Atsinaujinančios Energetikos Investicijos (AEI) raised almost EUR 92 mln in just two years. Its manager Grėtė Bukauskaitė says they are delighted but not surprised by the popularity of renewable energy investments.

Echo Investment's residential business will be integrated into Archicom. The change will clarify the structure of the group, where Archicom will be the residential part and Echo Investment will focus on growing the commercial and PRS segments, as well as on creating mixed-use ‘destination’ projects.

Regesta, a logistics services provider, has leased nearly 36,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Tricity East V. Its new facility will enable it to cooperate with the nearby seaport, offer container handling in the Baltic Hub and the BCT, and expand its sea transport services.

The newly constructed warehouse, which has expanded CTPark Prague West, has been certified as the most environmentally friendly industrial building in the Czech Republic according to ‘BREEAM New Construction’ standards, with a record score of 92.1 pct. The building is home to Rhenus Logistics, which uses it as a cross-dock for its pan-European network for collection services and warehousing.
