Office block to turn into hotel
POLAND Re-construction work on the former Projprzem Makrum office building in central Bydgoszcz has started. The building is to be completely transformed into a three-star Focus Hotel, becoming the 12th hotel of the chain, which is owned by Polish group Immobile.

BNP finances React
POLAND BNP Paribas Bank Polska has given a loan of over EUR 19 mln to Echo Investment for the construction of the first office building of the React office complex, which is being developed at the corner of ul. Kilińskiego and al. Piłsudskiego in Łódź.

Resi-market keeps its balance
POLAND The downward trend is continuing for home purchases and new supply, according to JLL’s latest Residential Market in Poland report for Q2 2019. However, increasing prices are allowing developers to maintain satisfactory margins, since they are not falling at the same rate as the number of transactions.
