Last hurdle overcome for record acquisition
WORLD The shareholders of Marriott and Starwood have consented to the merger of the two hotel groups in a vote. The transaction, which is currently evaluated at over USD 13 bln, will result in the creation of the largest hotel portfolio in the world.

Ikea invests in VR solution
WORLD As virtual reality becomes more significant and available for customers, Ikea is launching a pilot virtual reality app, the Ikea VR Experience, that helps to re-create a kitchen shopping and refurbishing experience. It is the first time that the Swedish furniture retailer, which has previously experimented with an augmented reality app, among others, introduces a VR solution to its customers.
