Polish service centre boom continues
POLAND According to the latest ABSL report, ‘The Modern Business Services Sector in Poland, 2015’, service centres with foreign capital are currently employing 150,000 specialists in 532 centres. This means that since April 2014, such companies have created 22,000 jobs across the country. Around 60 new Polish centres have been opened since the beginning of 2014.
Moscow hotel revenues down, except for luxury segment
RUSSIA Revenue per available room in Moscow hotels in January–May decreased 5 pct compared to the same period last year, according to a report by JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group.
Capital Group to invest EUR 500 mln in Sofiyskaya embankment project
RUSSIA Moscow-based developer Capital Group is planning to invest RUB 25–30 bln (EUR 410–500 mln) in a new development on the Sofiyskaya embankment on the Moskva River opposite the Kremlin.

Bolshevik turns into Cosmopolite
UKRAINE Bolshevik, one of the largest shopping centres in Kyiv, has changed its name to Cosmopolite. According to the Ukrainian Retail Association, the goal was to distance itself from communist symbolism. The name-change took place on June 21st.
Plaza disposes of yet another Romanian plot
ROMANIA Israeli-financed shopping centre developer Plaza Centers is selling off a 46,500 sqm development site in Iasi to an undisclosed buyer for EUR 7.3 mln.
Bilfinger sheds two more divisions
EUROPE German real estate, engineering and construction company Bilfinger has sold its infrastructure division to the Austrian construction company Porr for app. EUR 20 mln net. Bilfinger also plans on starting a structured selling process for its loss-making power division by the end of this year.

UNITED KINGDOM British rail infrastructure operator Network Rail, which runs a network of 34 manned parcel collection and return points for passengers at its mainline stations, called Doddle, is joining forces with DPD, which plots the launch of its own and nationwide parcel shop network.
