Warimpex sells hotel to Czech investor
CZECH REPUBLIC Warimpex Finanz- und Beteiligungs has sold Vienna House hotel in Prague’s Smíchov district to Czech investor CIMEX Group for an undiscosed sum.

Nine new Hiltons in Poland
POLAND/CEE REGION Hilton Worldwide has announced the opening of nine new hotels in various cities across Poland as well as a few projects around the region, including in Russia and Belarus.

New trio of Hiltons
POLAND Hilton Worldwide has signed contracts for the construction of three new Hampton by Hilton hotels to open in 2018. The new hotels are the Hampton by Hilton Poznan Old Town, the Hampton by Hilton Kalisz and Hampton by Hilton Warsaw Mokotow.

CFI invests in Falenty
POLAND Central Fund of Immovables, a subsidiary of CFI Holding, has finished the first stage of redevelopment and conversion work on a conference centre in Falenty near Warsaw. Plans are also in place to extend the facility.

Accor to blend hotels with hostels
EUROPE AccorHotels is to create a new hotel brand Jo&Joe, which will combine features of private-rental, hostel and hotel formats and even some Google campus style work spaces. About 50 such hotels are to be built by the year 2020.
