Romania Fit-out costs in Romania remain among the lowest in the CEE
The average office fit-out costs in Romania increased by around 20-30 pct in 2022, due to rising prices, supply chain disruptions, and higher materials’ costs, but also as a result of the increased labor costs. Therefore, companies incurred average expenses of EUR 820 per sqm of office space, according to data from the Cushman & Wakefield Echinox real estate consultancy company.

Poland Infinity in good shape
Up Fitness Club with a Mission enters Wrocław as yet another tenant at the Infinity – an office building being built by Avestus Real Estate in cooperation with its business partner Alchemy Properties at Plac Jana Pawła II. This modern club will occupy almost 1,350 sqm of space on the building’s first floor. The place is scheduled to open in Q4 2023.

Poland Smile in Łódź
Lux Med Group has become a new tenant in the Brama Miasta office complex in Łódź, with plans to open a dental centre here. The opening of the centre is scheduled for the end of May this year. Brama Miasta, a project by Skanska, offers a total of 40,800 sqm of office and service space.

POLAND BNI takes another floor in WTT
North Carolina-based business networking corporation BNI has renewed its lease in the Warsaw Trade Tower and taken up another floor of the building, bringing its occupancy up to 3300 sqm on the entire 38th and 29th floors of the office tower.

Poland Ocean Office Park B completed
Cavatina Holding has obtained an occupancy permit for Ocean Office Park B - the largest building within the multifunctional complex under construction in Kraków's Zabłocie district. The project, located on ul. Klimeckiego, offers over 26,500 sqm of space. The first tenants are already moving into the building.

Cemex Polska, the Polish subsidiary of Mexican cement and concrete aggregate producer Cemex, has renewed its lease in The Park, Warsaw, where it now occupies 2,000 sqm of office space.

The first phase of the UCenter project has achieved a WELL Core certification at Platinum level with a score of 91, the highest in Romania for this type of rating. The extensive certification process was carried out over a period of four years and was coordinated by the ESG Strategic Advisory department of Colliers Romania.

Hungary New Budapest headquarters for Hays
Hays Hungary, the recruitment company which is part of the Hays Plc group has chosen Academia office building developed in the centre of Budapest by ConvergenCE. The company will move to the new office in the fall of 2023.

Building permits have been issued for an office and a PRS building that will be added to the Olivia Centre mixed-use complex in Gdańsk. This will be the first time a building with a residential function has been developed within the complex.
