Illumination in your pocket

By using the app, the illumination of a bridge, building or monument can be managed or modified with the touch of a finger. It can also be used to remotely program spectacular light shows.

“Cities and companies are increasingly using architectural illuminations to give their buildings a unique style,” comments Jacques Letzelter, the global business leader of Signify’s public segment. “The need for immediate changes outside office hours or at the last moment has often posed difficulties for lighting managers. But with this app, they now have the flexibility to modify the lighting at any time,” he adds.

The application is integrated with the Interact Landmark system for lighting managers. It features personalised account settings with secure access to the architectural lighting system from outside the office – and can be used to change the colours used, activate the light shows and to view the schedules. Since it is a cloud application, authorised users are not required to log in via VPN.
