POLAND Recent amendments passed by the Sejm to the act on spatial planning and development are intended to improve online access to planning decisions thus making it easier to plan investments.
The amendment will also introduce the obligation to make all spatial plans available online including those already in force. “The changes are intended to accelerate investment and construction by sharing information digitally. So far no database has been set up on a national scale to present planning arrangements in a precise, coherent, and uniform manner. This has hindered development and slowed down investment, which is why we are creating a new system to share geographic data,” explains
