The development of digital infrastructure is a new economic priority for Europe, as shown by the draft EU regulations, 'Cloud and AI Development Act' (CADA), and the 'Strategic Roadmap, published in early June. The EU wants to triple computing power by 2035 to meet the demand for cloud services and artificial intelligence (AI). Poland is expected to play a leading role in this process.
The introduction of the EU CADA project is a turning point for the Polish new technologies market, which has gained the tools to fight for the title of European digital leader.
We are facing a major transformation: Poland is the largest energy construction site in Europe, and EU plans clearly demonstrate that this process must go hand in hand with digitalisation. Without its own gigawatts of power, there is no such thing as sovereign artificial intelligence or a strong, crisis-proof economy.
